Plinest® is positioned as a bio-regenerative treatment rather than a structural dermal filler — its intended role is to support the skin's own regenerative processes, including fibroblast activity associated with collagen production, rather than to add volume.

Plinest® is built on Polynucleotide High Purification Technology (PN HPT®) — Mastelli's proprietary in-house process for extracting and purifying deoxyribonucleotide polymers from salmon trout sourced through controlled European fish farms.
PN HPT® is intended to support overall skin quality, including the appearance of radiance and freshness, rather than to add structural volume.
The formulation is designed to promote bio-regenerative processes in the skin, supporting fibroblast activity associated with collagen production.
Mastelli describes a "priming" concept in which PN HPT® may prepare the skin to be more receptive to other medical-aesthetic procedures, including laser, radiofrequency, dermal fillers, peeling, needling and surgery.
Plinest® may help to remodel areas with a higher fibrous tissue content, such as selected acne scars, subject to professional assessment.
PN HPT® treatments are administered intradermally, generally using a micro-droplet or linear retrograde injection technique, depending on the specific product and treatment area. In a published recovery-treatment study, 91% of patients demonstrated a physician-assessed clinical improvement in the reduction of superficial fine lines and wrinkles following a PN HPT® infiltration protocol.
Digital skin measurement recorded a 14.7% improvement in skin hydration compared with baseline, evaluated one month after the end of treatment.
The same evaluation recorded a 21.8% increase in skin elasticity compared with baseline measurements.
In a real-world cohort study of 48 outpatients, the mean Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale (WSRS) score for periocular skin improved by 45.5% from baseline to follow-up after a three-session Plinest® Eye protocol.
